Yogi Adityanath Addresses Rally In Tripura, Here’s What He Said

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Wednesday that the speed of development done by the ‘double engine government’ in Tripura has reached the speed of ‘bullet train’. Addressing an election rally in Suryamaninagar, he said that the double engine government’s speed was felt during the Covid-19 pandemic, when people were provided free vaccine, free treatment and free food.

The senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader claimed that people would have been deprived of these things if the Congress or the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) were in power in the state. Congress and CPI(M) have ruled Tripura for most of the time. The BJP came to power in the state in 2018 and ended the 25-year-long Left rule. Both the parties (Congress and CPI-M) have decided to contest the assembly elections to be held on February 16 in alliance.

Respects our tradition and faith – Yogi

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh said, “We want development of all and respect our tradition and faith. We do not believe in violence and are against any kind of terrorism. Adityanath asked to respect tradition, pride and development. The newly built Agartala airport has been named after the last ruler of Tripura, Maharaja Bir Bikram. He claimed that Tripura under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set an example of “good governance and protection of the people” and the people of the state have to carry forward this tradition.

Yogi Adityanath said that during the last five years of the BJP-led government, three lakh families got houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 2.70 lakh people benefited from Ujjwala Yojana, 2.5 lakh farmers got Krishak Samman Nidhi and more than 80 per cent Pure drinking water has been provided.
