Apple has launched new computer chips based on 3 nanometer technology which provide better performance and efficiency (22 hours). According to the company, these new chips are the “first personal computer chips made using 3 nanometer wring technology.
The upgraded chip comes with an updated GPU which supports mesh shading, ray tracing and Dynamic Caching (memory optimization feature. These computer chips feature a unified memory of up to 128 GB, 60 Core and 4o-core GPU.
Apple also launched a 24-inch iMac which comes with the new and more powerful M3 chips. The newly launched iMac features a 4.5K Retina display with 1 billion+ colours, 1080p webcam, Wi-Fi 6E support and up to 24 GB of unified memory. The 24 Inch iMac comes in seven colour options- blue, green, purple, silver, orange and yellow. It comes with the starting price tag of $1299 and pre-order has already started for the product, while the first sale wil begin on November 7, 2023.
Upgraded MacBook Pro
During the official launch event, the company also launched the new upgraded MacBook. The new MacBook will be available in 14 and 16-inch screen models. The new MacBook Pro comes powered with new M3 chips. Pre-orders for the product have already started. The new MacBook Pro with M3 chip is priced at $1599 and $2499 for the 14 inch and 16-inch model respectively.
