Powertrain details

One 294.72cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC single-cylinder engine that complies with BS6.2 powers the Jawa 42. 27.32 PS and 26.84 Nm of torque are produced by the engine when paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The 199.5cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine that powers the KTM RC 200 generates 25PS of power and 19.2Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. Smooth power delivery is achieved by combining the engine with a 6-speed gearbox. A great option for motorcyclists seeking a sporty yet economical motorcycle in its class is the KTM RC 200, which has a mileage of approximately 31–35 km/l*.

Features onboard

The manufacturer included an upgraded digital console and standard hazard lights to the 42 2.1, the most recent model. To preserve the retro vibe, the headlamp and indicators are bulb-style devices.

It’s good to see that KTM is providing all LED lighting for the middle child of the RC series. The front indicators provide a noticeable flare to the motorcycle because they are integrated into its face. The RC 200 also comes with a monochrome LCD console that is the same as the one seen on the 250 Adventure. This model is well organised and refreshing, in contrast to the previous one that had an orange backlit dash.

Price in India

Prices (ex-showroom Delhi) for the Jawa 42 2.1 with dual channel ABS are Rs 1,96,142 for Orion Red and Sirius White colour schemes and Rs 1,97,142 for Allstar Black and Cosmic Carbon colour schemes.

The KTM RC 200 is now a little bit more affordable thanks to the new engine. The price (ex-showroom, Delhi) of the KTM RC 200 is Rs. 2.18 lakhs.
