Meta is all new to showcase a new AI chatbot to attract youngsters . It will be a new generative AI chatbot, it is named “Gen AI Personas” by the tech giant. It is primarily made for youngsters to engage with their vibrant behaviour. The new Chatbot is expected to be introduced during Meta Connect this week.
Earlier also, Meta has tested identical chatbots on instagram, but they were aimed for general purposes. These bots were made to engage users on the platforms.
According to Wall Street Journal, its been reported that Meta has plans to introduce almost a dozen of different chatbot personas which includes “Alvin the Alien”, biting Sarcasm and “Sassmaster general” which is inspired by Bender from Futurama.
Meghna Dhar who was a former exective at Instagram and Snapchat, observes that Chatbots are not a Gen Z thing, it’s just the Gen Z which is more comfortable with AI Chatbots. She added that the purpose of meta to introduce these chatbots is to engage users on the platform for longer durations.
In future, Meta can released several chatbots, as per reports. With the pre-created personas, the tech giant is also making efforts to develop a tool that will enable celebs to make a chatbots for their fans.
