Redmi A3 Spotted At BIS Certification Website; Expected to Launch in India Soon; Details

Redmi A3: Chinese smartphone company, Redmi is expected to launch its budget smartphone, the Redmi A3 in India soon. We are saying this because the upcoming device has been recently spotted on the BIS certification website. The device was earlier spotted at IMDA, NBTC and other certification websites. The BIS listing of the device suggests that the smartphone brand is gearing up for an India launch. 

Redmi A3 BIS Listing 

In its BIS listing, the Redmi A3 is listed with the “23129RN51H” model number. This model number differs from the previous listings of the device on other certification websites. It is expected that the BIS-listed device is India India-specific model of the upcoming Redmi A3. 

In the BIS listing, the device is listed with the “Poco” under the brand name which gives a clue that it will be a rebranded version of Redmi A3. The upcoming launch of Redmi A3 with the Poco brand tag aligns with the brand strategy of rebranding Redmi models and launching them in India. 

Although the listing doesn’t reveal any specs-related details about the device. We expect that the Redmi A3 will get a decent processor and cater to the needs of people who want to buy an all-rounder device in the budget segment.
