Vivo V27 series: With 6.5-inch display and 4500mAh battery, this soon to be launched series will offer valie for money

Vivo V27 series: The Vivo V27 series should be available in India soon. The Vivo V25 series, which debuted in September of last year, is the series' successor. The Vivo V27 series should include the Vivo V27, Vivo V27e, and the top-tier Vivo V27 Pro, but Indian buyers will only be able to get the vanilla and Pro variants. The Vivo V27 series may be comparable to the Vivo S16 series. The prices and specifications of the upcoming Vivo smartphones, as well as the global variants of these devices, have now leaked online.

Vivo V27 series: Specifications

Display, memory and Dimensity

According to the most recent leak, the Vivo V27 could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, while the Vivo V27 Pro could be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset.

Both smartphones are expected to be released with two RAM + storage configurations: 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It should be noted that MediaTek has not yet announced these chipsets. The name implies that they are inferior to the Dimensity 9200 SoC.

Design

The leak also claims Vivo could replicate the "fluorite AG glass" design, presumably because it was well received by buyers, piqued their interest, and generated marketing hype. Last year, the V23 Pro (2021) and the V25 series had this technology and allowed the devices to change the color of the back panel when exposed to UV light.

Hardware and cameras

Vivo has traditionally prioritised imaging hardware, and smartphones in the Vivo V27 typically have a high-resolution front-facing camera. The front and rear cameras on the Vivo V27 should be upgraded as well. According to rumours, the lineup will feature a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary camera.

Vivo should keep an OIS-enabled primary camera with a high-resolution imaging sensor on the back and a front-facing camera with features like "Eye Autofocus" on the front.

Vivo V27 series: Expected price and launch

Vivo has yet to provide any details about the Vivo V27 series. However, multiple reports indicate that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer will launch the series early next month. Although the exact pricing is unknown, the Vivo V27 is expected to start at around Rs 35,000 for the base model and Rs 40,000 for the Vivo V27 Pro. The Vivo V27 series phones, like other Vivo devices, should be available through the official Vivo e-commerce platform and Flipkart.
