WhatsApp: Now take polls on this instant messaging platform, here are the steps to create polls in chats

WhatsApp Polls: The smartphone apps for Android and iOS now include a feature called “Polls” from WhatsApp. To conduct polls in direct chats and group conversations in the past, users had to share poll links made using other apps. In a private chat or group conversation, users can now run polls natively on the instant messaging service owned by Meta. Here’s how to make a WhatsApp poll:

Steps for Android

First, update the WhatsApp application.

Step 2: Enter the private or group chat that you want to use to build the poll.

Step 2: Tap on the paper clip icon next to the textbox on the right side.

Step 3: Select the “Poll” option.

Step 4: Type the query and then the possible answers.

Step 5: When finished, select Send to share the poll in the chat.

Steps for iOS

First, update the WhatsApp application.

Step 2: Enter the private or group chat that you want to use to build the poll.

Step 3: Select the plus (+) symbol to the left of the text field.

Step 4: Select “Poll” from the menu.

Step 5: Type the query and then the possible answers.

Step 6: When finished, select Send to share the poll in the chat.

In a poll, users can include up to 12 choices. Users can also reorganise the responses with the help of the menu, which is located on the right side of the response. To rearrange, tap and hold the menu and drag it up or down. WhatsApp polls are untimed, in contrast to other polling tools. After the poll is created, users can vote whenever they want.

As soon as a new vote is added, the poll is automatically updated. The poll result is visible to all people connected to the poll. Each participant in a group conversation can see which choice has been chosen by others by selecting the “see votes” option. Users also have the option of voting for multiple options.
