WhatsApp: A new function will soon be available on WhatsApp. It will make it simple for users to share their screen during video calls. Users who get the Android 2.23.11.19 update will have access to the feature, according to a report. The addition is intended to improve the quality of video calls, claims a website that tracks upgrades to WhatsApp features.
WhatsApp Screen Sharing feature
Users will see a new symbol in the call control view for video calls when the app has been updated. Users who choose to share their screen will have whatever they see on the screen of their device captured and shared with the other caller. Users have the option to pause screen sharing at any time, even when it is still actively transmitting during a video conference. Additionally, this functionality will only allow users to share the contents of their screens with their permission.
Older Android operating system versions might not support the recently introduced Screen Sharing functionality, and it might not function during lengthy group calls. Even if other users start screen sharing, a recipient who is using an older version of WhatsApp won’t be able to access the shared content.
Edit message feature
As we mentioned earlier this week, WhatsApp just introduced the ability to edit messages. This feature has the unique ability to allow users to modify messages within 15 minutes of sending them. The conversation lock function had already been released. Users can secure their private chat by using this feature.
