In the latest episode, comedian Bharti Singh made an appearance and she talked about trolling for her weight. She has made many people laugh with her jokes and hosting since several years. Bharti opened up about being trolled and getting hurt by such comments on weight. Bharti, who got married to Haarsh Limbachiya, had heart-to-heart talk with bollywood’s fashionista and host Malaika Arora.
Bharti Singh reveals opens up on trolling
Bharti revealed that after her marriage, she got brutally trolled as she is fat. She said that people often used to call her name like ‘elephant met ant.’ She revealed that she encountered comments like ‘bas kar yaar ladkiya itna nahi khati’, ‘aage chalke kya hi kar payegi’, ‘tera vyah hi nahi hoega’, and so on. People commented on her roka’s pictures, ‘yeh hua cheenti aur haathi ka perfect combination’. She even faced body shaming messages after her marriage such as ‘bas kar fategi kya?’.
Bharti also remembered people writing ‘Bacche ke saath shaadi karli’ and’maa aur beta’. When she shared images from the pheras, some joked that a buffalo and a goat were being married. Bharti stated that she was not the only one being mocked; Haarsh was also trolled for marrying her. They frequently claimed that Haarsh married for fame and celebrity. Bharti went on to say that these individuals did not stop, that they brought my child in between and said that “a buffalo had given birth to a child.”
