Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Karan Johar recently celebrated their big National Award wins with a close-knit get-together hosted by Gauri Khan. The gathering was filled with warmth and smiles, and gave fans a peek into the bond they share off-screen.
Gauri Khan Celebrates Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji’s National Award Win
Gauri took to Instagram to post photos from the celebration. The images show Shah Rukh and Rani sharing a happy moment, and another one has Gauri hugging Karan Johar as Rani joins in for a selfie.
In the caption, she wrote, “Three of my absolute favourites just WON big… and so did our hearts. When talent meets goodness, magic happens – So proud, and so ready to brag about them forever!”
While most people enjoyed seeing the trio together, one picture got a lot of attention online. In it, Shah Rukh is seen giving Rani a kiss on the cheek, while Gauri stands beside them. This moment sparked mixed reactions, with some calling it sweet and others finding it inappropriate.
One user commented, “If I’d kissed another woman in front of my girl, she’d fry me alive.” Another said, “The audacity to kiss another woman in front of his wife.”
One more said, “Khan is fond of kissing other female.”
But SRK fans defended the moment, saying their friendship has lasted for decades and should be celebrated.
About Their National Award Win
Despite the buzz around the photos, the awards themselves are a big moment in their careers. Shah Rukh Khan won his first-ever National Award for Best Actor for Jawan. He shared the honour with Vikrant Massey for 12th Fail. Rani Mukerji received Best Actress for her performance in Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway. Karan Johar’s film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani took home the award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.
SRK also shared a video message saying, “This award is for you, as each award is… I’ll be back in theatres soon. Till then, just with one hand. Ready.”
Suhana Khan also posted a heartfelt note for her father, calling herself “a proud daughter.” She will soon be seen with SRK in the upcoming film King, directed by Siddharth Anand, also starring Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone.
