The Society: ‘Sabne Khaya, Par Mujhe Chor Bola!’ Ankit Arora Blasts Munawar Faruqui For Public Humiliation On Show – WATCH

Bigg Boss 17 winner and comedian Munawar Faruqui is once again at the centre of controversy. This time, it’s not his stand-up routines or personal life making headlines, but his reality show, The Society. The show, which brings together contestants to face emotional and social challenges under one roof, has sparked debate following serious claims made by former participant Ankit Arora.

Ex The Society Contestant Ankit Arora Accuses Munawar Faruqui Of Mistreatment, Selective Targeting

Ankit recently posted a video on social media accusing Munawar of treating him unfairly on the show. In the clip, the actor emotionally shared his side of the story and said that while other contestants were allowed to eat freely, he was publicly called a thief for doing the same.

Ankit said in the video, “I ate in front of everyone because I was hungry. Still, he called me a thief.” The footage has since gone viral, drawing both support and criticism from viewers.

While some sympathised with Ankit and felt his humiliation was unnecessary, others dismissed the accusations. Several users mocked his aggressive reaction, calling it an act. A user wrote, “Isko badhshah banaya kisne aur acting vaha bhi kr rha tha yaha bhi kr rha hai pata nhi kis baat ka ego tha aise dikhata tha ki isko show ki zarurat nhi h isne favour kiya hai show pe faltu ka drama.”

Another said, “Vahan se bhut attitude se nikla thaa 😂 ab kyu ro raha.”

A third user commented, “Tumko bar bar mna kiya ja rha tha tab bhi tum rul thodh rhe the esliye nikala gya.”

One more said, “Yeh kya generation hai bhai itna agression..this GENZ seriously need help and this sort of shitty content should be banned.”

This isn’t the first time Munawar Faruqui has found himself under scrutiny. Since winning Bigg Boss 17, he has grown more active in the television space.

Munawar’s Work Front

Apart from the society, Munawar is also set to co-host Colors TV’s upcoming reality show, Pati Patni Aur Panga. The show will see him sharing the stage with actress Sonali Bendre.

He was recently seen in a web show titled First Copy. He plays the lead role of Arif. Arif is a piracy mastermind who rises to power in the 1990s Mumbai film industry. Krystle D’souza, Ashi Singh and Saqib Ayub also star in this crime thriller, streaming on MX Player.
