Kangana Ranaut has been one of Bollywood’s most talked-about actresses over the past decade. She impressed audiences with films like Queen, Tanu Weds Manu, and Tanu Weds Manu Returns. While the Tanu Weds Manu sequel was a big hit, it has been her last major success at the box office. Now, Kangana is gearing up for two highly anticipated projects – Queen 2 and Tanu Weds Manu 3.
Kangana Ranaut Might Begin Shooting For Queen 2 In November
Kangana is expected to begin filming Queen 2 in November 2025. As per a source quoted by Pinkvilla, the script has been finalised, and director Vikas Bahl is currently scouting locations in the UK. Like the first film, the sequel will be shot in both India and international locations, with London confirmed as one of the overseas spots.
The sequel comes from a strong script that the team believes will capture the charm of the first Queen.
Tanu Weds Manu 3 Will Be Her Next
Right after Queen 2, Kangana will move on to Tanu Weds Manu 3. The same source claimed that Aanand L Rai has completed the script for Tanu Weds Manu 3 and plans to begin filming by early 2026, after his upcoming directorial Tere Ishk Mein is released. Kangana Ranaut is set to reprise multiple roles in the film, continuing the dual-role concept from the previous instalment.
The story is rooted in India’s heartland, combining elements of comedy and drama, and will see the reunion of Kangana and R. Madhavan on screen. The script has been well-received by the makers, and the team is eager to commence shooting, confident that the story will resonate with audiences.
Will Kangana Ranaut Bounce Back?
Despite her strong performances, Kangana has not delivered a clean hit since Tanu Weds Manu Returns in 2015. In almost a decade, she has faced 11 consecutive average or flop films. Both Queen 2 and Tanu Weds Manu 3 are expected to be big draws, giving audiences a chance to see her return to box office glory.
