Reports say Sonam had taken a rented apartment on Indoor on May 30, seven days after murdering her husband. One of the accused attackers, Vishal Singh Chauhan, took this flat on rent with a 16k down payment. 

Sonam's lover, Raj, even ordered online groceries worth Rs. 5k for her during the stay. However, she decides to escape from Indore as the case goes against her plan.

The latest news came up with a witness claiming that she traveled in a Bus with Sonam. Sonam sate beside her on a bus hours before her surrender at UP. The witness, Ujala Yadav, shared that Sonam was on a bus with her on June 8. She reveals that Sonam gets agitated when she watches an Instagram video about the Meghalaya murder case. She dismissed the video as "nonsense" and kept on asking for the travel time to Gorakhpur.
