Samastipur Viral Video: Traveling without a ticket on a train is illegal, but some individuals still take the risk. While most ticketless travelers remain silent when caught, some attempt to intimidate railway officials. A Samastipur viral video captures one such incident, where a passenger traveling without a ticket clashed with a TTE. The confrontation, recorded on a train passing through Samastipur, Bihar, has sparked widespread reactions online.
The viral video, uploaded on the X account "Ghar Ke Kaelsh," showcases a heated argument between a TTE (Travelling Ticket Examiner) and a passenger without a reservation. According to the video caption, the altercation occurred on a train in Samastipur.

At the start of the video, the man boards the train without a ticket or reservation proof. When the TTE confronts him and asks for his ticket, the passenger admits he has none but refuses to leave the coach.
In an attempt to avoid action, the passenger threatens the TTE, claiming to be the nephew of the DRM (Divisional Railway Manager). He even demands a phone to call and prove his connection. Despite the threats, the TTE remains firm and directs the man to leave the coach, refusing to be intimidated.
The Samastipur viral video has ignited widespread discussion among netizens. Social media users have flooded the comments section with diverse reactions. One user remarked, "He has great confidence to travel without a ticket in AC 2nd Tier." Another said, "This is very common in India. Many people travel daily without buying tickets." A third added, "When you book a ticket, you’re booking the journey, not a fight." Another comment read, "Why are people even allowed to enter stations without ticket checks? If managed like the Metro, such issues could be resolved." A fifth user wrote, "Best line: ‘Hamara relative DRM hai.’"
This Samastipur viral video not only highlights the audacity of some passengers but also sheds light on the challenges faced by TTEs in maintaining order on trains. It underscores the need for stricter ticket-checking protocols at railway stations to curb such incidents in the future.
