Viral Photo: Fans of sports are known to go to any lengths to watch their favorite player or team play. On the internet, there are numerous videos of fans making strange attempts to watch a game. A dedicated football fan can be seen in one such online image watching a FIFA World Cup game while undergoing surgery.
Anand Mahindra, an entrepreneur and frequent user of social media, watched the video right away. Following his viewing of the video, the business tycoon asked his followers if the man deserved a prize of some kind.

According to reports, the image was taken in a hospital in the Polish city of Kielce and posted online by a staff member. Anand Mahindra, who came across the image of the patient being treated, tweeted the following with the hashtag FIFA: "A man in Poland continued watching the World Cup even while having an operation under spinal anaesthesia. The picture was shared by the hospital treating him, SP ZOZ MSWiA in Kielce."

The man had surgery on his lower body on November 25, according to reports. The football fan asked the surgeons if he could watch the Wales vs. Iran game while they did the surgery before they started. A television was brought into the operating room after receiving permission from the hospital administration. After seeing the image, one user wrote, "If you’ve ever watched a game with any real level of interest, especially a particularly close or intense one, you’ve probably felt better."
