Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde who also happens to be the University’s Chancellor was the chief guest, while Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa was the guest of honour.

University Acts To Save Reputation

The university then decided to take corrective steps by requesting the Deputy CM to present the degrees to remaining students as the governor had already left by then.

It was remarked by students that they had spent a considerable amount on clothing as a special dress code was mandated for the convocation event. Also, they said their families were invited to celebrate an important milestone in their lives and the university should have communicated to them beforehand if it was planning to honour all students on the stage.
