53 Marriages in 43 years: To attain “peace and stability”, a Saudi man allegedly wed 53 times in 43 years. The 63-year old man, who is now being referred to as the “polygamist of the century,” explained that he had multiple marriages for his search of a woman that could make him happy.
Per the polygamist, “he tried to be fair with all his spouses. “Adding to his tale, he said that,” when I married for the first time, I did not plan to marry more than one woman because I was feeling comfortable and had children.”
Claims that disagreements led him to remarrying
According to him, his wives and he had a number of disagreements that led to him, being remarried. “I married 53 women over long periods. The first was when I was 20 years and she was six years older than me.” The man who has been identified as ‘Abu Abdullah’, claimed that he decided to get married at the age of 23 due to some issues.
According to Abdullah, his shortest marriage was a one-night event. The majority of his marriages, he said, were to Saudi women, but he has also wed foreigners on business travelers abroad. Commenting on that he said, “I used to stay for three to four months. So I married to protect myself from vice.”
The polygamist supposedly only has a single woman as his wife right now. He says he has no intention of getting married again.
