In the viral video, uploaded on X by a user named 'Taslima Nasreen,' six men are seen singing Islamic songs on the Durga Puja pandal stage in Bangladesh. According to reports from ANI, they identified themselves as members of a cultural group and received permission from a Puja committee member to perform. However, they started singing Islamic songs on the Durga Puja stage, which escalated the situation into a religious statement, causing massive outrage among Hindus attending the Durga Puja celebrations.
Thousands of Hindus gathered in Chittagong's JM sen Hall Durga Puja festival to protest the forced performance of Islamic songs by Islamic jihadists and demanded punishment of the perpetrators.

Following the incident, another viral video from Bangladesh surfaced, showing thousands of Hindus flooding the streets to protest the intrusion. Several netizens condemned the act. One user commented, "Hindus across the world have no voice, and sadly, they donβt care for each other." Another added, "It's only a matter of time... Bharat will have to intervene."

This is not the only incident during the Durga Puja festival. Recently, a crown of Goddess Kali was stolen from the Jeshoreshwari Temple in Satkhira. The High Commission of India in Bangladesh addressed the theft on X, urging the Bangladeshi government to investigate and recover the stolen crown gifted by Indian Prime Minister Modi in 2021.
