Extremists desecrate Goddess Kali, Saraswati temples in Bangladesh

Once again the news of insult to Hindu deities is coming out from Bangladesh, where once the temples of Hindu deities have been attacked and vandalized. The incident is being told of Govindapur in Dinajpur district. It is reported that the idols of deities have been dismembered in the Kali temple of Govindapur. The idol of Maa Kali has been vandalised. There is anger in the area since the incident and the Hindu community is strongly objecting to it. People are creating ruckus outside the temple and demanding strict action.

This is not the first case when temples have been attacked to hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community in Bangladesh. Even before this, on October 8, the officials had found broken pieces of the idol of Mother Goddess in the Kali temple in Dautia village. Police investigation revealed that some unidentified miscreants attacked the Kali temple and vandalized the idol of Mother Goddess. Along with this, the pieces of the idols were taken some distance away and thrown on the road. After which the local people passing by fell on the pieces and informed the police. So far no arrest has been made in this case.

Apart from this, on March 17, the ISKCON Radhakanta Jeev Temple in Dhaka was also vandalised. Not only this, the chaotic elements had assaulted the devotees who came to visit the temple, as well as did not leave the idols of the gods and goddesses. It was told that about 200 people attacked the temple, Haji Shafiullah belongs to the terrorist organization. The terrorists together damaged the ISKCON Radhakanta temple. Apart from this, on October 16, an ISKCON temple in Noakhali city of Bangladesh was vandalized, where a devotee was beaten to death by the mob.
