Russia developing a major army base in captured Mariupol, reveals Satellite photographs

Russia-Ukraine War: According to satellite images supplied by Maxar Technologies, Russia is constructing a massive army base in the occupied port city of Mariupol in east Ukraine. A U-shaped compound near the city centre can be seen in the photographs, with the roof painted in the Russian army’s red, white, and blue star.
The Russian Army phrase, “From Russian Army to Mariupol Citizens,” can also be seen on the roof.

Maxar Technologies reported in a tweet that the structure appeared to be a military facility used for weapon storage.

It posted, “In Mariupol, a Russian military compound has been recently built in the north-center of the city. Notice the Russian Army slogan on the top of the roof.”
