Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan, made his first official stage appearance as a director at the preview launch of The Ba***ds of Bollywood on Wednesday. The moment was special for Aryan, who admitted he was nervous about speaking to the media for the first time.
With Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan by his side, Aryan shared his journey, his challenges, and his excitement about bringing his debut series to life.
Aryan Khan Shares His First Stage Experience
Taking the spotlight, Aryan spoke honestly about his nervousness. He said, “Lagatar practice kiya jaa raha hoon. In fact, main itna nervous hoon ki maine teleprompter pe bhi likhwa diya hai aur just in case yaha ki bijli chali jaaye main kaagaz ke tukde pe bhi likh ke laya hoon! Torch ke saath. Aur agar tab bhi mujhse mistake ho jaaye… toh papa hain na! … Aur iss sab ke baad bhi mujhse galti ho jaaye toh mujhe please maaf kar dena ye mera first time hai.”
The audience applauded his words, while Shah Rukh looked on proudly. Aryan revealed that the series had been in the making for almost four years. He described the process as tough but rewarding and thanked his team for standing by him.
The event turned emotional when Aryan posed with his parents Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, after his speech. The cast also joined them next.
Shah Rukh Khan Asks For Same Love Towards Son Aryan Khan
One of the most touching moments came from Shah Rukh Khan. Speaking about his journey, he said, “Mumbai ki pavan dharti ka Maharashtra is poore desh ki pavan dharti jisne mujhe tees saal tak ye mauka diya ki main aap logon ko entertain karne ki koshish kar sakoon. Isi dharti par mera beta bhi apna kadam rakh raha hai. Bahut accha lag kyunki humne sirf baat sikh hai ki box office ka success guaranteed nahi hota, critics ke positive reviews guaranteed nahi hote.”
He then added, “Mere bete ko bhi itna pyar dena jitna aapne mujhe diya.”
