Baaghi 4 Vs The Bengal Files Box Office Collection Day 7: Tiger Shroff Starrer Fails To Cross Rs 50 Cr In 1st Week, Vivek Agnihotri’s Film Earns Rs…

Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 4 has failed to cross the Rs 50 crore mark in its first week, marking the weakest entry in the franchise. Vivek Agnihotri’s The Bengal Files also struggled, ending its first week with just Rs 11.25 crore.

The first week at the box office has turned out to be disappointing for both Baaghi 4 and The Bengal Files. Despite hype around the two releases, neither has managed to make a strong impact in theatres. While Tiger Shroff’s action drama was expected to carry the franchise name forward, Vivek Agnihotri’s political film aimed to replicate the success of The Kashmir Files. However, both films are falling short of expectations.

The Bengal Files Box Office Collection Day 7

Released on September 5, The Bengal Files featured seasoned actors Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and Pallavi Joshi. The film entered cinemas with buzz, but its box office journey has been underwhelming from the start. According to sacnilk, the movie earned just Rs 1 crore on Day 7, taking its first-week total to Rs 11.25 crore. Occupancy remained low, with slightly better numbers in the evening and night shows compared with the morning slots.

The day-wise figures reflect its struggle clearly – Rs 1.75 crore on Day 1, Rs 2.25 crore on Day 2, Rs 2.75 crore on Day 3, and a sharp fall afterwards. With numbers stuck around the Rs 1 crore mark through weekdays, the film has failed to recover even a fraction of its budget. Despite sincere performances, poor word-of-mouth and limited critical appreciation have worked against it. Some viewers praised it for addressing uncomfortable truths, but the collections show that major audiences have not connected with the narrative.

Baaghi 4 Box Office Collection Day 7

Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 4 opened bigger than Agnihotri’s film, but has also struggled to hold ground. The film collected Rs 2.15 crore on Day 7, bringing its first-week total to around Rs 44.55 crore. Falling short of the Rs 50 crore milestone in its opening week is a serious concern, especially for a franchise once known for strong box office runs.

The breakdown reveals a worrying trend. The movie started at Rs 12 crore on Day 1, dipped to Rs 9.25 crore on Day 2, and picked up slightly with Rs 10 crore on Day 3. However, the weekday numbers continued to fall, sliding to Rs 4.5 crore, Rs 4 crore, Rs 2.65 crore, and finally Rs 2.15 crore. The weak trend has made it clear that the film is unlikely to bag the “HIT” tag. Reviews from critics and fans have also been mixed, with many feeling it is the weakest entry in the franchise.

In Baaghi 4, Tiger Shroff plays Ronny, a man haunted by tragedy who begins to question reality after surviving a deadly train crash. Despite heavy action sequences, the movie has not sparked the same excitement as earlier parts of the series. For Agnihotri’s The Bengal Files, the comparisons with The Kashmir Files have been inevitable, but the impact has been nowhere near the same.
