Fans of Bigg Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna were recently left confused after his wife, Akanksha Chamola, shared a cryptic post on Instagram. Many speculated that the couple might be facing trouble in their nine-year marriage. However, Akanksha has now clarified that there is no issue between them and that her post was misinterpreted.
In an interview with Times of India, she said, “There is absolutely no trouble in our marriage, and the post had nothing to do with Gaurav. I am not someone who discusses personal matters on social media. The post was meant to promote my upcoming series. It was open to interpretation, but it was blown out of proportion.”

She also addressed the online trolling that followed, especially regarding her choice not to pursue motherhood. Laughing, she said, “I am the troll queen at the moment! I have always been open about this subject. Gaurav is more guarded because he wants to protect my image. We have an age difference, and he is mature enough to understand my point of view. I have clearly said that I don’t see myself choosing motherhood. It’s a personal choice and I don’t feel the need to justify it to anyone.”

Akanksha also responded to claims that she is enjoying the spotlight following Gaurav’s Bigg Boss win. She explained, “If I wanted attention, I could’ve taken it while I was in the BB house during the family week. While I don’t deny that some visibility has come my way since then, I am not chasing it or seeking the limelight.”
Recently, she accompanied Gaurav to Dubai for the Bigg Boss 19 success bash. Speaking about attending events together, she said, “I attend parties and events with him because I am his partner, and it is his choice to include me. In a relationship, you don’t compete with each other; you support one another. There is no comparison between us. Gaurav is far more successful and why would I feel insecure about my partner’s success? He wants me by his side, so where is the question of insecurity?”

A few days ago, Akanksha shared a black-and-white post on Instagram that worried fans. She wrote about heartbreaks – “Jis rishte ki buniyaad main sirf zarooratein ho. Wahan dil hamesha qurbaan hota hai.”
In the caption, she added, “Just when we thought we were ready, we weren’t.”
