Tata Motors has rolled out the 2026 Curvv Series X, which comes with an updated variant lineup and improved specifications in lower- and mid-range models.
A new strategy to handle the Curvv model series
This variant lineup reduces the old lineup of eight variants to six variants, with an added “X” suffix to all the new names. This begins with the Smart X and ends with the Accomplished X+ at the high end.
Increased equipment on lower variants
The Smart X gets 17-inch steel wheels with stylized wheel covers, in contrast to the smaller size with no wheel covers in the old lineup. At the same time, the variant still carries features like six airbags, electronic stability control, ABS, and EBD. The Pure X variant, on the other hand, sees a major upgrade of equipment. Some of the features include a 10.25-inch.

Mid-level variants gain premium features
The Creative X+ receives a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, rain-sensing wipers, and automatic headlamps. These additions bring several features that were previously associated with more expensive versions further down the range. From the Pure X+ onwards, buyers can also choose the #DARK Edition. This version adds a black-themed treatment to the exterior and interior, giving buyers another styling option within the range.
Top variants retain advanced equipment
The Accomplished X and X+ offer premium features such as a powered tailgate, powered driver’s seat, connected-car technology, and auto-dimming mirrors. The Curvv Series X is available with petrol and diesel engines, with manual and automatic transmission options.
Price and positioning
The 2026 Tata Curvv Series X starts at ₹9.99 lakh and goes up to ₹18.75 lakh, with prices quoted ex-showroom. The #DARK Edition is available on selected variants at an additional ₹25,000. The key change is therefore not a major redesign but a reshuffling of equipment. By moving desirable features into lower and mid-level variants, Tata is giving buyers more reasons to consider these versions rather than stretching their budgets for higher trims.
