Mahindra XUV400 EV: The electric SUV from Mahindra XUV400 will soon be available in India. In the month of January, the new model’s prices will be released (around 2023 Delhi Auto Expo). Its test drive will begin the following month in addition to this. However, the new Mahindra Electric SUV won’t begin shipping until February or March 2023.

Mahindra XUV400 EV will come in variants

There are three drive modes available for the Mahindra XUV400: Fun, Fast, and Fearless. Additionally, the business will debut the “Lively Model,” a single pedal that is a segment first. The new Mahindra Electric SUV is 1821mm in width and 4200mm in total length. It will have a 378-liter boot and a wheelbase that measures 2600mm long.

Range and battery

The new Mahindra XUV400 will reportedly be the nation’s quickest electric SUV, according to sources. It will take just 8.3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph. The business also states that its top speed will be 150 km. A 39.5kWh battery pack made of Li-ion cells will be added to the electric vehicle’s powertrain system. It produces 310Nm of maximum torque and 148bhp of power. According to claims, the XUV400 can travel 456 kilometres on a single charge. It will go up against the Tata Nexon EV, which has a 437-kilometer range on a single charge.

Charging time

Mahindra’s new electric SUV will come with three charging choices. There will be a 7.2kW/32A, a DC fast charger, and a 3.3kW/16A home charger available. With a typical home charger, its battery pack can be charged in 13 hours, and with a DC fast charger, it can be charged in 50 minutes. A 7.2kW charger needs 6 hours 30 minutes to completely charge its battery pack.

Price

Initial distribution of the Mahindra XUV400 will take place in 16 specific cities. Three variations of the new model range will be offered: Base, EP, and EL. It is anticipated to cost between Rs. 17 lakh and Rs. 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
