A 1.5-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.3-liter, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine each power the MG Astor. The latter is only available with a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission and generates 138 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque. The Hyundai Creta, however, offers two engine choices. The 1.5-liter MPI petrol engine (six-speed MT/IVT) delivers a maximum torque of 143.8Nm and 113 horsepower. On the other hand, the new Skoda Kushaq will offer two different petrol engine options: a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, TSI engine that makes 148 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, and a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder TSI engine that produces 113 horsepower and 178 Nm of torque.
