Toyota Kirloskar: Company to launch 3 brand new SUVs including Next Generation Fortuner with advanced features, all you must know

Toyota Kirloskar: In the coming years, the Indian market will receive three new SUVs from the Japanese automaker Toyota Kirloskar. Only in the past few months has the company introduced the new Innova Highcross and Urban Cruiser Highrider SUVs to the market. The evidence indicates that the business would release a new coupe SUV based on the Maruti Suzuki Franks this year. Also, by 2025, the company plans to release the Fortuner, its most popular SUV, in its most recent model.

Know about the upcoming SUVs

Toyota is reportedly putting together a new three-row SUV for the Indian market. This SUV will be based on the Corolla Cross SUV that the business sells on the international market. The TNGA-C platform, which also supports the Innova Highcross, will be used for its construction. This automobile has a potential wheelbase of 2790mm. It may be equipped with the Innova Hycross’s powerplant. In which a 2.0-liter NA petrol engine with 172 horsepower and a 2.0-liter petrol self-charging powerful hybrid engine with 186 horsepower are both options.

New Next-Gen Fortuner

In 2024, the Next-Gen Fortuner may be introduced to the international market. With the new engine, this will see numerous design and feature updates. It will be constructed using the new TNGA-F architecture platform from the business. The business also produces its SUVs, including the Sequoia, Land Cruiser, and Tundra, on this. The next-generation Fortuner can have a new diesel engine with a mild hybrid system. Perhaps the brand-new 1GD-FTV 2.8L diesel engine.

Toyota Kirloskar: Franks Based SUV

A15, a new coupe SUV being developed by Toyota, is based on Maruti Suzuki’s Fronx crossover SUV. It may, however, incorporate styling cues from the company’s Yaris Cross model. It will have two engine choices: a 1.0L 3-cylinder Boosterjet turbo petrol engine and a 1.2L 4-cylinder Dualjet petrol engine, each of which can produce 89 and 100 horsepower of power. Mild hybrid technology will be included in both engines.

Toyota Kirloskar: Competitors

The Fronx SUV from Maruti, which could be released the following month, will compete with Toyota’s new coupe SUV. The same powertrain choice as Toyota’s SUV is available for this automobile as well. It will, however, be distinct from the Toyota vehicle.
