WhatsApp has added a new feature in the latest beta update that allows users to recover accidentally deleted messages. This option is certainly a sigh of relief for millions of WhatsApp users in India. The company has recently been working on several things to enhance the user experience and upgrade the platform security.
Whatsapp is India's number one messaging app. It is popular not only in India but all over the world and only has more than 487 million users.
Whatsapp has launched a new beta update, which will allow users to recover deleted messages in a few seconds.
Although this development is still in process and WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.18.13 is available for some users, not all. However, some lucky users can get the same feature in the last update as well. After the beta trail is over, Whatsapp will launch a new update for all users.
How to recover deleted message?
In the new beta update, every time you delete a message for a few seconds, a snapbar pops up, providing an option to undo the action. However, if you choose to do nothing, the message will be permanently deleted.
If you update to the new beta version of Whatsapp and you are not getting this snapbar, then it means that you are not one of the lucky users. Then you will have to wait a little longer when WhatsApp launches the full update for users globally.
Whatsapp has also added some other features, know them also:
Leave the group, nobody will know:
When any person leaves the group, it is known that he has left. But now after the new update it will be possible to leave the group without notifying every member of the group except the group admin. This is really a boon for introverts who prefer not to say why they left the group. This update will be available for WhatsApp users globally in the last week of August.
Take Control of Your Visibility
WhatsApp snatches away your privacy by making you visible to others. They can know when you are online and when was the last time you used WhatsApp. Although this feature is for the benefit of the users, some do not like online monitoring. They need privacy and solitude from time to time. This new feature will allow you to pick and choose the contacts who can see you online, your last seen, your status and more.
