Tata Altroz CNG: The CNG and electric versions of the Tata Altroz hatchback and Punch mini SUV models will be added to the roster. At this year's Auto Show, the CNG versions of both vehicles were on display. The automaker has installed a unique two cylinder configuration above the rear floor to conserve luggage space. Each cylinder holds 30 litres of fluid. One sophisticated ECU (Engine Control Unit) and direct state CNG are features of Tata's new CNG vehicles.
Equipped with leakage detection technology
The automaker claims that the vehicle has industry-first leakage detection technology that can switch to gasoline in the case of a gas leak. The Tata Altroz CNG and Punch CNG's powertrain configuration consists of a 1.2L petrol engine plus a factory-installed CNG kit. It can generate 95Nm of torque and 77PS of maximum power. A 5-speed manual gearbox will handle the transmission chores.
Tata Altroz CNG: Equipped with advanced features
The CNG edition will come with a 7-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, a semi-digital instrument cluster, automated climate control, leatherette seat upholstery, an electric sunroof, a projector, and a height-adjustable driver seat.
Tata Altroz CNG: Debute at Auto Expo
Around the holiday season, the Tata Punch EV, which was unveiled at the 2023 Auto Expo, is anticipated to go on sale. The car is built on a modified Alpha platform and might come with Tata's Ziptron drivetrain. The EV will be lighter, roomier, and more energy-efficient thanks to the revolutionary Sigma Punch than its ICE-powered counterpart.
About the electric variant
Like the Nexon EV, the electric small SUV might have two battery packs. The electric model could feature new wheels, somewhat different bumpers, and colourful accents on the outside to set it out from the ICE model. The Tata Altroz EV will get the same powertrain and design updates when it debuts next year.
