Namo Bharat Train: National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC) has proposed six stations for Gurugram-Greater Noida Namo Bharat train. As per reports, proposed route has been created and sent to the Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation (HMRTC) for approval. On approval, the detailed project report (DPR) will be prepared and further process will be started.
What is Proposed Route of Gurugram-Greater Noida Namo Bharat Train?
• The Gurugram-Greater Noida Namo Bharat train will start from Iffco Chowk and will go through Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Marg, Brigadier Usman Chowk and will reach near AIT Chowk on Golf Course Road.
• From Golf Course Road, the train will lead to Ghata Chowk and Gwal Pahari Chowk, staying onto the Gurugram-Faridabad Road. In the way of Faridabad Road, it will reach NIT Faridabad via Shaheed Bhagat Singh Marg.
• Thereafter, crossing the Vishwakarma Setu and the Palwal railway line, it will reach at Bata Chowk. Then, passing through the road between Sectors 85 and 86, it will meet FNG Road, will cross the Yamuna River and reach Noida.
• In Noida, it will pass by the metro station located at Sector 142, cross Gurjar Road and Hindon, and will enter Kuleshra in Greater Noida.
• After that, it will pass through Hebatpur and Dadri Main Road to arrive Surajpur near the Yamuna Junction.
Key Information about Gurugram-Greater Noida Namo Bharat Train
• Distance of Namo Bharat train from Gurugram to Greater Noida via Faridabad will be around 60 km as per NCRTC plan.
• The expected cost for this project is around 15,000 crore.
• This Namo Bharat train route is planned for speed up to 180 km per hour but it will run mostly at a speed of 160 km per hour.
• As per proposal, the train on this route will be available every five to seven minutes.
• There are six proposed stations for this route: 2 stations each for Gurugram, Faridabad and Noida. The first station from Gurugram is at sector 29 near Iffco Chowk. The second station is at Sector-54 on Golf Course Road. The third station is at Bata Chowk and the fourth station is near Sector 85-86 in Faridabad.The fifth station is between Noida’s Sector 142-168, and the sixth will be at Surajpur, Greater Noida. In Greater Noida, the train will connect to the Ghaziabad–Jewar Airport Namo Bharat Corridor.
The new Namo Bharat Train from Gurugram to Greater Noida via Faridabad with speed up to 180 km is proposed. After its approval, it will make commute very easier for people going between Gurugram and Greater Noida and other places in the route.
