Vande Bharat Train: Gujarat Gets 2 New Express Trains; Travelling to Sabarmati Turns Easy, Check

Vande Bharat Train: For the convenience of the people of Gujarat, Indian Railways has started two new express trains. One of these is the Vande Bharat Train. PM Narendra Modi flagged off both these trains through video conferencing during a program organized in Dahod.

Detail of Sabarmati to Veraval Vande Bharat Train

Train number for the Sabarmati to Veraval Vande Bharat Train is 26901. On the other hand, the Veraval to Sabarmati Vande Bharat Train is numbered as 26902. 
•    The distance of route is 438 km which will be covered in 7 hours. 
•    This semi-high-speed train will run on all days of the week except Thursday. 
•    There are five stations between Sabarmati and Veraval. These are Viramgam, Surendranagar, Wankaner, Rajkot, and Junagadh. 
•    The Sabarmati to Veraval Vande Bharat Express train will depart from Sabarmati at 05:25 hrs. and will reach Veraval same day at 12:25 hrs. On return, the train will depart from Veraval at 14:40 hrs. and will reach Sabarmati same day at 21:35 hrs.

Detail of Valsad to Dahod Express Train

The new Valsad to Dahod Express train is numbered as 19011 and the Dahod to Valsad Express train is numbered as 19012. 
•    The Valsad-Dahod-Valsad Express train will run on all seven days of the week.
•    The distance for this route is 346 km which will be covered in 5.5 hours.
•    The train will run on all days of the week.
•    This train will stop at 12 stations between Valsad and Dahod. These stations are Bilimora, Navsari, Surat, Ankleshwar, Bharuch, Miyagam Karjan, Vadodara, Samlaya, Derol, Godhra, Piplod, and Limkheda. 
•    Valsad-Dahod Express train will depart from Valsad at 05:15 hrs. and will reach Dahod same day at 11:05 hrs. On return, the train will depart from Dahod at 11:55 hrs. and will reach Valsad same day at 20:05 hrs.
•    This train has a total of 17 coaches including one executive class, four third AC, ten second class coaches and two guard cum parcel vans. 
•    There are also special arrangements for the seating of Divyang passengers in one guard van. 

With the launch of these two new trains, people of Gujarat will get faster and convenient travel experience. It will also improve connectivity between different cities of the state.
