Earthquakes jolt central Nepal, details here

Earthquake tremors were felt last night in Kathmandu, Nepal. An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 was felt here yesterday on Sunday night. According to the country’s Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, the intensity of the earthquake that occurred at 10.53 pm last night was recorded at 4.5 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was in Dhading district, 50 km west of Kathmandu.

Last night at 10:53 the people of Kathmandu were sleeping in a deep sleep, at that time almost everyone felt this earthquake. It was told that the earthquake was also felt in Kathmandu and other nearby districts. However, there is no information about damage to property or casualties so far.

There was also an earthquake in the month of October

There was an earthquake in Kathmandu in October also. Then, along with the tremors of the earthquake being felt in Nepal, its effect was also seen in the border states of India adjacent to Nepal. It was told that the earthquake was felt in many other places including Patna in Bihar, although even then there was no loss of life or property from anywhere.

As told by the National Center for Seismology of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, an earthquake occurred in Kathmandu, Nepal at 2.52 pm on 19 October. Its intensity was measured at 5.1 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was 53 km east of Kathmandu. It came at a depth of 10 kilometers below the ground.
