Ghaziabad News: GDA is having trouble stopping unauthorised building in Ghaziabad. Every day, illegal construction is going place. Also being destroyed are unlawful colonies. A Closer Look at Ghaziabad’s Battle Against Unauthorized Construction
Rakesh Kumar Singh, a district magistrate and vice president of the GDA, has issued orders to destroy the illegal settlement and building. But unlawful construction is still going on. The GDA has eight enforcement zone areas in total. This falls under Zone 1 and covers Raj Nagar Extension, Nandgram, Meerut Road, and Morata region. Zone 2 contains Modi Nagar, the Muradnagar neighbourhood, and the Niwari, Bhojpuri neighbourhood. Zone 3 consists of the Patel Nagar, Lohia Nagar, Sector-23, Sanjay Nagar, Raj Nagar, RDC, Govindpuram, Swarnjayanti Puram, Karpoori Gramme, and Madhuban Bapudham areas that are accessible from Meerut Road. Nehru Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Kavi Nagar, Shastri Nagar, Navyug Market, Mali Wada, Avantika, Chiranji and Vihar, Vijay Nagar, Pratap Vihar, and Kanwani are all included in Zone 4, which extends from the Hindon River to GT Road.
Uncovering the Geographical Landscape of Enforcement Zones in Ghaziabad
Crossing Republic, Lal Kuan, Aditya City, Akbarpur, Bahra Mapur, and Web City are all located in Zone 5. From Mohan Nagar to Indira Puram, Zone 6 contains places like Vaishali, Kaushambi, Arthala, etc. Loni Road, Maharajpur Checkpost, Surya Nagar, Chandra Nagar, Brij Vihar, Lajpat Nagar, Rajendranagar, Shyam Park Extension, Shalimar Garden, and Sahiba Bad area are all located in Zone 7. Loni, Shaheed Nagar, Giani Border, Bhopura, Shalimar Garden, Shalimar Garden Extension, Tulsi Niketan, Koel Enclave, Indraprastha, etc. are examples of projects in Zone 8. Speaking of the GDA’s eight enforcement zones, Zone 2, which includes the neighbourhoods of Modi Nagar, Murad Nagar Bhojpuri, and Niwari, is where illegal colonies are being chopped down indiscriminately.
Unstoppable Unlawful Construction
From Balaji Enclave in Joe No. 3 to Surya Garden, Swarnjayanti Puram, and Govindpuram, illegal construction projects are ongoing. There are other unauthorised building projects in Zone 4 at Chiranjeev Vihar, Mahendra Enclave, and Avantika. Similar to this, unlawful structures and colonies are being removed in Crossingri Public, Dasna, and Mussoorie in Zone 5 area. Periodically, GDA actions are carried out, but the public ignores them.
