Mamata In Goa: Mamata Banerjee’s Goa Yatra will start from today

TMC supremo and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee will reach Goa on Thursday evening on her three-day visit. This is Mamata Banerjee’s first visit to another state after the TMC’s victory in the West Bengal Assembly elections. This is also her first Goa tour. During the Goa tour, Mamata Banerjee has a busy three-day program with tea party, visits to religious places, taking padyatra and meeting local fishermen, intellectuals and media.

According to the program list released by TMC, “The Chief Minister of West Bengal will reach Goa on October 28 at 5.30 pm. Trinamool Congress has decided to contest the assembly elections to be held in February 2022. During her visit, Banerjee will meet intellectuals, thinkers, professionals and others,” a TMC spokesperson said.

On the other hand, ahead of CM Mamata Banerjee’s visit, the BJP on Sunday claimed that the Goa unit of Trinamool Congress had posted cartoons on social media in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant were it is shown that they are trying to dominate Mamata Banerjee. Ahead of Mamata Banerjee’s visit to Goa, several posters with her picture put up in this coastal state have come to the fore. The Trinamool Congress on Wednesday condemned the incident, claiming it reflected the “intolerance” of the BJP.
