Prime Minister Modi will meet representatives of seven Indian companies making Corona vaccine

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet representatives of seven Indian companies making Corona Vaccine on Saturday. This meeting is taking place at a time when India has achieved the achievement of giving 100 crore doses of vaccines to its citizens. According to information received from official sources, representatives of Serum Institute of India, Bharat Biotech, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Zydus Cadila, Biological E, Gennova Biopharma and Panacea Biotech will be present in this meeting with the Prime Minister.

An official source said that during this time the Prime Minister can insist on vaccinating all eligible population of India at the earliest and helping other countries under the Vaccine for All Mantra. According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, 101.30 crore doses of vaccines have been given in India so far. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare informed on Saturday that more than 105.7 crore doses of corona vaccine have been given to the states and union territories so far.

India crossed the 100 crore dose mark on 21 October under the vaccination campaign against the pandemic. For this historic achievement, the process of congratulating the country from all over the world continues. More than 75 per cent of immunized adults in the country have received at least one dose, while about 31 per cent have received both doses. The first dose of vaccines has been given to all eligible people in nine states and union territories.

The vaccination campaign started on January 16 and in its first phase, health workers were vaccinated. After this, vaccination of frontline personnel started from February 2. The next phase of the vaccination campaign started from March 1, in which all people above 60 years of age and people above 45 years of age suffering from serious diseases were started. Vaccination of all people above 45 years of age in the country started from April 1 and vaccination of all people above 18 years of age started from May 1.
