The exams of 9th and 11th classes in Delhi government schools have been canceled in view of the rapid rise in the corona cases in the national capital. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia made the announcement on Thursday.
He said that the criteria being adopted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the evaluation of 10th grade students will be adopted for both these (9th and 11th) classes.
Sisodia said, ‘Examinations of 9th and 11th classes in government schools have been canceled.At the same time, when asked about the 12th exam, Sisodia said, “I still think the examinations should be canceled, but CBSE has said that it will review the situation on June 1. I appeal to the students to be patient. ‘
The CBSE on Wednesday canceled the examinations of class 10, while postponing the examinations of class 12, in view of the rapid increase in the number of cases of Covid-19.
Weekend Cufew implemented in Delhi –
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took a major decision on Thursday to save the country’s capital Delhi from the growing threat of Corona. Curfew will be applicable on weekends in Delhi, it will continue till 30 April.
Chief Minister Kejriwal said that some strict steps need to be taken to curb the growing cases of corona in the capital. He appealed to people to follow the rules on weekends. Passes will be issued for the wedding ceremony on weekends.
