Amitabh Bachchan, originally from Allahabad, aims to construct a 10,000 square feet home on the 51-acre Sarayu property. The enclave, conveniently located about 15 minutes away from the upcoming Ram temple, is set to be unveiled on the same day as the historic ceremony.

The Sarayu Enclave Details

The Sarayu enclave is a 7-star mixed-use development, and Bachchan’s investment includes a plotted development in the project. The enclave will feature a five-star palace hotel in collaboration with Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, a part of the Brookfield group.

Bachchan’s Perspective

Expressing his sentiments, Amitabh Bachchan said, “I am looking forward to embark on this journey with The House of Abhinandan Lodha for The Sarayu in Ayodhya, a city that holds a special place in my heart.” He emphasized the profound connection he feels with Ayodhya’s timeless spirituality and cultural richness.

Developer’s Milestone

Chairman of The House of Abhinandan Lodha, Abhinandan Lodha, termed Bachchan’s investment as a “milestone moment” for the company. The Sarayu is strategically positioned, 30 minutes away from the Ayodhya international airport.

Project Completion and Ayodhya’s Growth

The plotted development is slated for completion by March 2028, contributing to the ongoing infrastructure development in Ayodhya since 2019. The city has experienced a surge in land prices following the Supreme Court’s decision to award the site, previously housing the Babri Masjid, to Hindus.
