Dhurandhar 2 Review: The high-octane spy thriller Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge has hit theatres, and the response from South and Bollywood stars has been electric. First-day-first-show audiences included South stars Allu Arjun and Vijay Deverakonda, who shared their REVIEWS on social media.
Allu Arjun And Vijay Deverakonda Praise Dhurandhar 2
Pushpa 2 actor Allu Arjun called the film “patriotism with swag” and a “BLAST” that would make every Indian proud. He also praised director Aditya Dhar, saying he had hit the ball out of the park, and hailed Ranveer Singh as a brilliant and versatile actor. Arjun further raved about the technical brilliance and strong performances by R Madhavan and other cast members.
Vijay Deverakonda described Dhar as a “mad genius” and said the film would be a defining moment for Indian cinema. He called Ranveer’s performance “all in explosive” and singled out Shashwat Sachdev’s background score as pure FIRE. Deverakonda concluded with a patriotic salute – “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”
Even renowned filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) lauded the movie yesterday. He called Dhurandhar 2 the birth of a new cinematic order and compared its impact to “Sholay x 100 level magnificence.” RGV suggested international directors like Steven Spielberg and Christopher Nolan should watch it immediately.

Bollywood celebrities have also praised the film. Preity Zinta shared she had become an Aditya Dhar “fangirl” and applauded Ranveer Singh’s range and depth.
Kartik Aaryan called the film TOP NOTCH, while Ananya Panday said she was “blown away.” Other stars like Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal and Hrithik Roshan had earlier praised the trailer, with Bhatt calling it “out of control” and Roshan describing it as “too too good.”

Dhurandhar 2 continues the story of Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who, under the alias Hamza Ali Mazari, infiltrates Pakistan’s criminal underworld. After the elimination of Rehman Dakait in the first film, Rangi rises strategically through the gangster-terrorist-political network. The sequel focuses on dismantling ISI financial operations, a tense showdown with Major Iqbal (Arjun Rampal) and finally reveals the mysterious “Bade Sahab.”
The film features Sanjay Dutt as SP Chaudhary Aslam, R. Madhavan as Ajay Sanyal, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, and Danish Pandor, with cameos by Yami Gautam and Vicky Kaushal. Akshaye Khanna appears in flashback sequences.
