Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge opened to a spectacular response at the Indian box office. The Ranveer Singh-led action thriller set a new benchmark for Hindi cinema by outperforming major releases, including Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan.
Despite mixed critical reactions, audience response has been overwhelmingly strong. Trade experts predict a continued run of success.
Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge Day 1 Box Office Collection
On its first day, Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge earned a massive Rs 102.55 crore in India, surpassing the previous record of Jawan’s Rs 75 crore opening. Paid previews added Rs 43 crore, bringing the total Day 1 collection to Rs 145.5 crore

For comparison, any occupancy above 30–40% is considered healthy, especially on a weekday. Sacnilk reports that Hindi screenings earned Rs 99.10 crore net with 73.6% occupancy across 19,500 shows. Other languages also contributed:
- Telugu – Rs 2.12 crore (59% occupancy)
- Tamil – Rs 1.16 crore
- Malayalam – Rs 0.09 crore (80% occupancy)
- Kannada – Rs 0.08 crore
About This Ranveer Singh Starrer
The story follows Indian agent Jaskirat Singh Rangi (Ranveer Singh), who infiltrates a Pakistan-based criminal network under the alias Hamza Ali Mazari. Picking up from the first film, the plot focuses on Hamza’s mission to dismantle the ISI’s financial operations.
