‘Maalik Ne Bulaya Hai’ Rajkummar Rao Confirms Trailer Launch Date As He Goes Full Swag Mode In New Video – WATCH

Rajkummar Rao is all set to impress again as he takes a gangster role in his next. He stars alongside Manushi Chhillar in the upcoming film Maalik. On Saturday, Rajkummar confirmed that the film’s trailer will release in theatres on July 1, ahead of its big screen debut on July 11.

In the video that’s going viral, Rajkummar appears in full gangster mode with dreadlocks and a bold attitude.

He invites fans in style as he says, “Bado ko pranaam aur chhoto ko pyaar. Aapko to bata hi hoga Maalik aa rahe hain cinema gharon mein 11 July ko. Teaser pasand aaya aapko? Gaane bhi acche lage? To ab samay aa gaya hai ki aapko Maalik ki duniya ka trailer bhi dikhaya jaye.”

He adds, “Par samasya yeh hai ki trailer launch karein to karein kahaan, Kolkata, Bambai, Dilli, Lucknow, Patna, Kanpur ya kahin aur? To ek kaam karte hain... Maalik ka trailer Maalik ke theatre mein hi launch karte hain. Lekin aap sab ke saath. To done raha, aap sabhi aamantrit hain Maalik ke saath, Maalik ki duniya ka jhalak dekhne ko. Aur wo kya kehte hain angrezi mein? Popcorn is on me! To milte hain ek July ko, aaiyega zaroor, bahut maza aayega.”

Maalik Trailer To Drop On July 1

The teaser of Maalik already got fans excited when it dropped earlier this month. Rajkummar shocked everyone with his intense gangster transformation. He plays a powerful underworld figure, showing a dark and intense side that’s totally different from his usual roles.

According to Pinkvilla, the trailer will be launched at a big event. A source said, “The action-packed trailer has a lot of high points and hero-elevation scenes. It will be filled with seeti-maar dialogues and clap-worthy moments.” The full cast and crew will be present, and the trailer launch will kick off full-scale promotions.

In the teaser, Rajkummar’s intense look and strong screen presence stand out. His role in Maalik brings a new vibe  (dark, dangerous and bold). The story is set in the world of crime, ambition and power, and the trailer is expected to give more of that gritty feel.

Rajkummar’s Work Front

Rajkummar was last seen in Bhool Chuk Maaf with Wamiqa Gabbi. Directed by Karan Sharma, the film has earned over Rs 60 crore in just 11 days. The story follows Ranjan, a man stuck in a time loop, trying to fix a mistake by reliving the same day. The emotional and quirky plot struck a chord with the audience.

After Maalik, he also has a Netflix film titled Toaster.
