The former US president revealed his list of favorite movies of 2024. It is an annual list in which Barack Obama shares his top 10 movies of the year. The list serves as an opportunity for many niche movies that the president might’ve enjoyed and can now have a bigger audience. For 2024, the list included movies like Dune Part 2, The Piano Lesson, Conclave and A Complete Unknown. However, the first of the 10 was the Indian drama All We Imagine as Light written and directed by Payal Kapadia.

The movie features Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Chhaya Kadam and Hridhu Haroon. It follows the journey of two nurses as they navigate life in the city that never sleeps, Mumbai. The movie was premiered in the 77th Cannes movie Festival before its theatrical release on 29^th November 2024. Upon release the movie was showered with positive reviews and has an IMDB rating of 7.4.
