The probe into the threat case involving Dhurandhar actor Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Rohit Shetty has picked up pace. Mumbai Police have recorded statements from the managers of both celebrities. At the same time, the Crime Branch has reconstructed events linked to the firing incident outside Singham Again director’s residence.

Officials say these steps are part of a deeper investigation. The team is verifying the accused’s movements, checking financial details, and matching statements with evidence. As a result, investigators believe the latest findings could help explain how the incident unfolded.

Managers Questioned In Ranveer Singh And Rohit Shetty Threat Case

Police sources confirmed that officers formally recorded statements from the managers of Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty. This development followed reports that the actor received a threatening voice note. The caller allegedly claimed links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and demanded money.

Soon after receiving the message, Ranveer Singh reportedly alerted senior police officials. Consequently, authorities widened the enquiry. They are now examining whether the threat has any connection to the firing case or earlier warnings.

Officers also questioned Rohit Shetty’s manager. They sought clarity on security arrangements, recent communications, and any suspicious activity. Although officials have not revealed specific details, they indicated that digital checks and background analyses are ongoing.

Investigators consider these statements important. They may help establish context and possible links between the threat and the firing probe.

Crime Branch Recreates The Suspected Route

Meanwhile, the Crime Branch intensified its efforts by recreating the alleged journey of the accused. Officers escorted four individuals currently in custody – Swapnil Sakat, Aditya Gayaki, Siddharth Yenpure, and Samarth Pomaji.

The reconstruction began in Pune. According to investigators, this is where the scooter used in the case was purchased. From there, officers retraced the route to Mumbai. They documented each stop and movement described by the accused.

The reenactment ended near Vile Parle station, where the scooter was reportedly parked. Throughout the exercise, officials continued questioning the accused. They compared statements with travel timelines and location evidence.

Importantly, the Crime Branch recorded the entire process on video. Sources say this step helped validate some claims while raising fresh questions about planning and coordination.

Money Trail Widens In Ranveer Singh And Rohit Shetty Threat Case

In addition to tracking movements, investigators uncovered new financial details. During questioning, the accused allegedly revealed that Shubham Lonkar provided an extra Rs 11,000 after the scooter reached Mumbai.

Earlier police records mentioned a payment of Rs 40,000. However, further enquiries suggested a larger sum. Authorities now state that the accused received a total of Rs 51,000.

Of this amount, Rs 30,000 was reportedly used to buy the scooter. The remaining Rs 21,000 covered other expenses. Officials believe this money trail may offer insight into logistics and possible accomplices. As a result, financial analysis has become a key part of the probe.

Fresh Developments And Ongoing Search

The investigation may widen further. According to sources, Praveen Lonkar (named as the sixth accused) could be taken into custody from jail in the coming days, subject to legal procedures.

Despite recent progress, challenges remain. Two weeks after the firing incident, the alleged shooter and one accomplice are still absconding. Police teams continue search operations and follow multiple leads.
