Delhi Police Arrests NIA’s Top Suspect Shafi Uzzama, Wanted in Pune ISIS Case

Shafi Uzzama, a terrorist wanted by the NIA and suspected of having ties to ISIS, was captured by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police.

Delhi Police: The most sought terrorist by the National Investigation Agency, Shahnawaz alias Shafi Uzzama, has been captured by the Delhi Police Special Cell. The terrorist Shahnawaz was wanted in connection with the ISIS case in Pune, and the NIA had offered a reward of Rs 3 lakhs for his capture.

Terror Suspect Shahnawaz Captured in Delhi

Shahnawaz, a Delhi resident and engineer by trade, had eluded capture by Pune police and was then residing there. Additional persons have been detained by the Delhi Police. Further research is being conducted: India Police Three people, including Shahnawaz alias Shafi Uzzama, have so far been taken into custody by the Delhi Police Special Cell, according to news agency ANI.

Terrorist Module Plotting Attacks in North India Busted

According to the authorities, the module planned to carry out terrorist attacks in North India on the orders of handlers headquartered outside. Materials thought to be utilised in the creation of IEDs were among the incriminating items that were found.
