Fog Update: From Delhi to Lucknow, fog cover to diminish significantly, rains bring visibility along with chilly temperatures

Fog Update

Fog Update: Due to the western disturbance, rains are predicted to lash several regions in North. However, the fog is also likely to diminish from major areas due. The rural regions of Punjab and western Rajasthan are predicted to be hit by a cold wave. In Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh, dense to extremely dense fog is anticipated to last throughout the morning.

In Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura, severe fog is predicted for the next 48 hours.

Delhi

As per the latest fog update, the national capital is anticipated to have visibility of 1000 metres in the morning. However, during the day it will eventually improve to 1800 metres. Few showers are also predicted to lash the region.

Lucknow

IMD predicts Lucknow to remain mostly clear. The week has mostly been covered in fog with dense fog taking the stroll on some day too. Although, for today, the visibility is predicted to remain 1500 metres in the morning and then increase up to 2000 metres in the day.

Jaipur

There won't be any fog in Jaipur today. Just as per the trend, only a few days this season had very heavy fog, and the most of it was free of it.

Amritsar

Amritsar will have an 1500-meter dip in visibility in the morning, according to the IMD. It is anticipated to get better up to 2500 -metres after the morning, though. The city will probably see cooler temperatures, though.
