These comments were taken as a jab at Congressman Rahul Gandhi.During a Q&A session at the Pune book launch for Bharat Marg, the Marathi translation of Mr. Jaishankar’s book The India Way, the audience was able to interact with him.

2. Opposition queries LIC and SBI’s continued investment in the Adani Group

3. Tri-services exercise to improve military operations skills, AMPHEX 2023, is over

The Navy stated here on Friday that the three Services—Navy, IAF, and Army—recently carried out the biennial amphibious exercise, “AMPHEX 2023,” to improve synergy in many aspects of amphibious operations.The drill’s most recent iteration, which was the biggest ever, was held for the first time off Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. The Indian Navy sent several amphibious ships, including Large Platform Docks (LPD), Landing Ships, and Landing Crafts, Marine Commandos (MARCOS), helicopters, and planes, to participate in the exercise, which took place from January 17 to January 22. Over 900 members of the Indian Army, including Special Forces, Artillery, and Armoured vehicles, took part in the drill. IAF C 130 and Jaguar fighter planes took part in the exercise as well.

4. Rahul Gandhi resumes his Bharat Jodo Yatra with increased security

Former J&K chief minister Mehbooba Mufti and her family joined Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as he continued the Bharat Jodo Yatra on Saturday amidst tight security in Kashmir. He also paid respects to the 40 CRPF jawans who died in the 2019 blast in Pulwama’s Lethpora neighbourhood. The Congress party expressed pleasure with the escalation of security measures after claiming that “security arrangements disintegrated” upon Mr. Gandhi’s arrival in Qazigund, Kashmir, on Friday.

5. IMF detects PKR 2 trillion shortfall in Pakistan’s fiscal projections ahead of key discussions

7. India enters the $3 billion global market as a small plane fuel exporter

India switched from being a net importer to an exporter of aviation gasoline, also known as AV Gas, which fuels unmanned aerial vehicles and piston engine planes used by flight schools, on Saturday amid a looming western ban on fuel from Russia. In order to enter the estimated $2.7 billion global market, state-run IndianOil shipped the first shipment of 80 barrels of AV Gas to Papua New Guinea from Mumbai’s Jawaharlal Nehru Port. According to firm chairman S M Vaidya, “the indigenous production of AVGAS 100 LL in India will not only assist save foreign currency spent on imports but will make training in domestic flying colleges inexpensive for aspiring pilots.”

8. Current a/c deficit manageable and inflation lowering, according to RBI governor Das
