Heatwave in Gujarat’s, IMD issues yellow alert

In the month of March itself, the Sun has become very kind to some people, due to which the heat of June has already started in many places in the country. The Indian Meteorological Department has said in its latest update that there is a possibility of hot winds i.e. ‘heatwave’ in Gujarat from today to next two days, hence it has issued a ‘Yellow Alert’ here.

The department has said that people will have to bear the wrath of heat in Saurashtra and Kutch of Gujarat and there is no change in the weather for 48 hours, although a slight drop in temperature can be seen after two days.

The IMD has said that except Saurashtra and Kutch, there is no possibility of moving heat in the rest of the state. The temperature will be normal here. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature of Gandhi Nagar reached 39 degrees. So on Friday, light rain is expected in the areas of Dahod, Chhota Udaipur.

The meteorological department often issues warnings according to colors. Green, Yellow, Orange and Red Alert. Green alert means no warning and authorities do not need to take any action. .Whereas Orange Alert is for the weather warning under which there is a possibility of a significant impact on the common life in the coming days. Under this, authorities are asked to remain alert and carry out every preparation.
According to Orange Alert, due to the weather, there is a possibility of worsening of conditions in the coming days.

What is red alert
A red alert is an alert that tells about the most dangerous conditions of the weather. This alert is meant to prepare authorities for action.

This alert is associated with heavy snowfall to reach the lowest level of temperature. The Meteorological Department, however, says that this alert is meant to take action only .
