India Slams Pakistan at UN: Pakistan once again attempted to internationalise the Kashmir issue at the United Nations. However, India responded firmly, rejecting the baseless allegations. During the 7th meeting of the Human Rights Council’s 58th session in Geneva, Indian diplomat Kshitij Tyagi delivered a sharp rebuttal. He exposed Pakistan’s propaganda and highlighted India’s progress in Jammu and Kashmir.

Indian Diplomat Kshitij Tyagi Calls Out Pakistan’s Falsehoods

At the UN Human Rights Council, Kshitij Tyagi exercised India's right of reply. He criticised Pakistan for spreading misinformation about Kashmir, calling it a tactic driven by its "military-terrorist complex." The Indian diplomat made it clear that Pakistan’s claims had no merit and were a desperate attempt to divert attention from its own internal failures.

Watch Here:

Pakistan's Minister for Law, Justice, and Human Rights, Azam Nazeer Tarar, had earlier accused India of denying Kashmir’s right to self-determination. He claimed that alleged human rights violations in the region were against UN resolutions. However, India slammed these allegations, asserting its sovereignty over Kashmir and dismissing Pakistan’s concerns as propaganda.

Kshitij Tyagi reaffirmed that Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh are integral parts of India. He pointed to the region’s unprecedented development in recent years. “The political, social, and economic progress in J&K speaks for itself,” he said, countering Pakistan’s accusations. He further mentioned that the people of Kashmir trust India’s efforts to bring normalcy, despite Pakistan’s repeated attempts to destabilise the region through terrorism.

Pakistan Urged to Fix Its Own Problems Instead of Targeting India

The Indian diplomat did not hold back in his criticism of Pakistan’s internal issues. He stated that Pakistan should focus on governance and justice for its own people rather than obsessing over India. "With systematic human rights abuses, persecution of minorities, and erosion of democratic values, Pakistan has no moral ground to lecture others," he remarked.

Tyagi also pointed out that Pakistan shelters UN-sanctioned terrorists while pretending to care about human rights. He described its actions as hypocritical and its governance as incompetent. India, he emphasised, remains committed to democracy, progress and ensuring dignity for its people.
