Kumbhalgarh festival will start in Rajasthan from December 1

Rajasthan will witness a series of festivals for tourists visiting the desert state in winter, beginning with the Kumbhalgarh festival from December 1. According to the State Tourism Department, ‘Ranakpur Jawai Bandh Utsav’ will start in Pali district on December 22 and Sharad Utsav on Mount Abu on December 30-31 will be the last official tourism event of the year 2021. However, there are other such events that could entice visitors in the coming months.

These festivals reflect the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan. Tourists are very excited for these programs. Recently, similar colors were seen during the ‘Bundi Utsav’ in Bundi, famous for its glorious history and unique architecture in Rajasthan and Matsay Utsav in Alwar district. During the ‘Bundi Utsav’, the folk artists of Hadoti made it very special with their excellent colorful cultural performances. Amazing painting style, it was also a major attraction for domestic and foreign tourists.

The Desert Festival of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan is very famous and popular in India as well as all over the world. The purpose of this festival is to inform the people of India and abroad about the culture, civilization and traditions of India.

Camel Festival in Bikaner – 8 to 9 January 2022.
Kite Festival of Jaipur – 14 January 2022.
Baneshwar Fair in Banswara – 10 to 14 February 2022.
Desert Festival of Jaisalmer – 14 to 16 February 2022.
Braj Holi in Bharatpur – 13 to 14 March 2022.
Dhulandi Festival of Jaipur – 18 March 2022.
Shekhawati festival – 20 to 22 March 2022.

This festive landscape will resonate till the mega celebrations of Rajasthan Day celebrations concludes on March 30, 2022 in the winter festival calendar.
