Special Surya Tilak for Ram Lalla - Highlight of Ram Navami 2025 Celebrations
One of the most awaited rituals of Ram Navami 2025 in Ayodhya is the Surya Tilak for Ram Lalla, which will take place at 12 PM sharp. The sacred Surya Tilak—where a ray of sunlight will fall directly on the forehead of Ram Lalla—is a significant spiritual moment during the festivities. This celestial event is being achieved through architectural alignment and mirrors, making it a deeply symbolic part of the celebration.
Before the Surya Tilak, a special Panchamrit Snan (holy bath with five sacred elements) was performed for Ram Lalla. The deity was then adorned with fresh clothes and a ceremonial crown amid Vedic chants. This divine ritual stands as the spiritual core of Ram Navami 2025 celebrations in Ayodhya.
