Faridabad, Gurugram, Noida, Delhi, Ghaziabad and adjoining areas are likely to experience thick fog, especially in early morning and late night hours. Chilly, cold waves are likely to make the life of daily commuters challenging. Surface wind speed is likely to be around 15-20 kilometer per hour during the day.
Rajasthan
The IMD has predicted that isolated parts in the state may experience dense to thick fog during early morning hours. Surface wind speed is likely to be around 15-25 kilometer per hour during the day.
Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh
Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh are likely to witness fresh snowfall, light rain and thick fog throughout the day. Isolated places over Western Himalayan Region Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit Baltistan-Muzaffarabad are also likely to be covered in fresh and dense snow and fog.
Other States
Some locations in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, eastern Rajasthan, northeast India, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Sikkim and central Maharashtra may experience chilling waves. Northeastern states of the country are likely to experience thick fog during early morning hours.
